  My grandfather Floyd Lanning recorded these songs in 1976 on my mother's 9th birthday on Marty Robbins' short term record label Charger Records when him and Marty were friends.
  Aside from being played on local radio stations (and many people requested it to be played again and again) this 45" vinyl was never publicly distributed.
  
  For my grandfather Floyd Lanning’s birthday, I am BEYOND proud to release this BRAND NEW cover art for this vinyl record created by Anthony aka Pulp_Americana on Instagram! He took SUCH attention to detail between the articulation of my grandfather’s face to his iconic logo star and even to his race car. I am just speechless and I cried when I first saw it. I can’t thank him enough for creating such a special artwork to further honor my grandfather’s legacy.
